BEHR INGENIEURE takes part in the “Schau rein – Woche des offenen Unternehmen Sachsen”. Interested students from grade 9 got an insight into the daily work of an civil engineer in our office. Model-based integrated planning with BIM was presented on the basis of current projects.

In the area of building diagnosis, which is in increasing demand, another employee has gained an additional qualification through successful participation in the multi-day seminar on ´Building Diagnosis - Localization and Mapping in Concrete Parts´ at the Bauhaus Further Education Academy Weimar e.V.With the methods of non-destructive building diagnosis (ZfPBau) using radar, ultrasound and impact echo, concrete structures can be examined during condition assessment, damage analysis and quality assurance. Areas of application are the detection and localization of built-in parts and imperfections as well as thickness measurement, geometry determination and volume mapping.With the result that in the case of renovation, change or conversion, thicknesses can be mapped, plans verified or newly created and areas selected for further destructive investigations.

The event ist postponed! Not only large but also medium-sized companies face immense challenges: on the one hand through the energy transition and on the other hand through the limited availability of raw materials. This is a complex task that needs multi-dimensional approaches. In the symposium, we introduce innovative technologies and practical applications - and thus some upside-down ways of thinking.

A construction fence has been pointing to the future construction project for months. The gutting and parts of the conversion areas have already been demolished. Now the crane is ready to start the shell work.

"Master of Membrane Structures" is a vocational training course offered by IMS BAUHAUS Archineer®Institutes e.V. in Dessau-Rosslau, to which our Mr. Johannes Rybakowski (M.Sc. Engineering) will participate from March to September 2019. Participation in the English-language study program provides comprehensive insight into the planning, calculation and maintenance of textile structures and concludes with the degree Master (M.Eng.) From Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. We wish Mr. Rybakowski every success and are pleased about the increase in competence in the field of lightweight structures.

From the summer semester 2019, which starts now, the University of Applied Sciences Wolfram Behr, one of the managing partners of the BEHR ENGINEERING, has won a guest lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences HWR in Berlin.

In addition to the openBIM software Nemetschek Allplan, a large part of the workplaces have been extended by the BIM360 software from Autodesk.
